19th Century Victorian Papier Mache, Mother of Pearl Inlays & Hand-Painted Floral Tilt-Top Accent TableA Stunning Antique 19th Century C1880 Victorian English Papier Mâché with Mother of Pearl Inlays Tilt Top Accent Table. This scalloped Oval shaped table top is Beautifully hand-painted with roses, poppies, and morning glories floral motifs and a gold gilt scalloped edge with mother of pearl inlays. The table spine and base are made of fruitwood. The table is in good condition, showing wear appropriate to age. The top shows lacquer crazing and one of the three legs shows some scratches & scrapes. A few nails on the tabletop show movement from tilting. see photos.Measures Approx. 20" x 18" Tray. Height of table approx. 28.5" and tilted height 43.5"
