With 8 openings for your horse to access the hay it can help reduce the squabbling at feeding time from the dominate horse in the herd. One of best benefits of the Hay Hut is the savings customers are reporting. Because the hay is kept dry from the elements and the reduced ability of the horses to thrash the hay out of the hut, one customer reported replacing his round hay bale every 5 days instead of every 3 days before using the Hay Hut. If your using square bales the Hay Hut can hold up to 16 bales. The dimensions are 84" x 72" x 84". The unit weight 230 pounds and can easily be tipped on it's side when putting a new bale down then flipping it back upright when your done.
