Listing my older DeRosa Idol bike for sale (circa, 2008). Bike is all carbon fiber with an integrated seatpost. This frame was actually made in Italy! Bike is equipped with Campagnolo Record 10 Speed (except for the crank which I replaced with a Centaur compact crank (50-34) crankset). The wheels have also been replaced with a set of Pro-lite aluminum wheels. The wheels are straight and true and have never given me any issues. I just put on new 700x23 Michelin tires. The frame can accommodate up to 700 x 25 tires.The bike has never been crashed or abused. I originally purchased this bike (with very few miles) sometime around 2009.With the exception of some riding I did on the bike this summer, the bike has been sparingly used as a back up bike for quite a few years.The bike is in amazing condition. The pic's of the bike show some marks on the seatstays. i have since waxed the bike and the marks are gone. I guess they were just some very light surface marks. I have since uploaded more photos (last 4) to show how nice the seatstays look now. The rame really looks super!Due to the integrated seatpost, the seat adjustment is only 2 cm. The adjustment from the middle of the bottom bracket to the bottom of the seatrails is 71 to 73 mm. The seat could be adjusted lower by cutting the seat mast. For reference purposes, I'm 5'10" with a pant leg inseam of 32" and I ride with the seat at the 72 mm setting. DeRosa measures it's frames differently than most manufactures. This bike has a 56mm effective top tube and is similar to other manufacture's 56 frames.This bike is in good working order and ready to ride. The bike needs needs nothing, except maybe some new handlebar tape.If you're interested in the bike or have any questions, please e-mail me with your questions. This was some grime that was lodged between the frame and some clear protective tape I had put on the frame. I have added some pics to show both the rub marks on both seatstays as well as the drive side chainstay after I removed the protective tape and cleaned the area.
