I have a very old laptop which despite its age works pretty well. It's a Compaq Armada e500 with a PIII 646MHz processor. I currently have it dual-booting Windows XP and Lubuntu (Linux). It is quite usable (almost as responsive as my new MacBook) for web browsing and word processing under Linux, although it cannot do much with video or gaming. It's physically in good shape and really solid. Battery holds a short charge. I'm asking $25 as a shot in the dark, since it's a working laptop. Make me an offer.
