This unique and rare painting titled "Air Wrangler" is a must-have for any art collector or enthusiast of western and cowboy culture. Created by the talented artist Roy Boots Reynolds, this one-of-a-kind signed acrylic painting features a cowboy riding a bucking bull in a cartoonish style that is both playful and masterful. The painting is 12" x 16" in a 17" x 21" Frame (There is some paint peeling from the original wood frame on the edges). This painting was featured in the July/August 1998 issue ofAmerican Cowboy, and they describe it as “Reynolds’ Air Wranglerdepicts a bull rider who is so far out of position that he is pioneering a newart form”About the Artist: Boots Reynolds was an American WesternCartoonist (1935-2013). Boots drew his inspiration from real-lifeexperiences as a rodeo clown, roper, horse trainer and bronc rider. Hisoriginals hang in the Museum of Western Art and have been exhibited at theNational Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum. The Academy of Western Artistsnamed him Cowboy Cartoonist of the Year in 1996. Other honors include theTrumble Family Award, the Western Horseman Award by Cowboy CartoonistsInternational and the Penny Onstott Memorial Award from the Professional RodeoCowboy Artists Association.
