This is a King Trombone in top playing condition.Slide action is silky smooth and fast with no hangups, it will not disappoint.Tuning slide, slide lock and water key all work properly.The 6 digit serial number appears on both inner and outer slide. I’ve been playing a King model 2B for over 30 years, and can tell you without any hesitation that’s exactly what this slide looks like. Nickel plated outer slide tubes with brass crook. Plating on inner slide tubes in remarkable condition as shown.I Think it’s important to note that because the bell only shows five serial numbers on it and the engraving reads King on it with no model number of any kind. (and I know where to look) The engraving is pictured very clearly for you to see on the bell section. I hand polished the bell section, and it appears to be gold plated. There are a few superficial scratches on the horn, but nothing serious. Pics are from all angles to give an accurate description of the condition. It is ready to play and comes with a Protech case in fair condition at best showing signs of past repair on the case.It will be fine for the short term, but not much beyond that.I will include a mouthpiece. It will be very carefully packed. Thanks for looking.
