For Sale: 1950's Tappan Deluxe (Doughboy) Electric Range and Stove.It features 3 surface area burners, surface crock pot, central baking oven covered by a Visualite glass oven door, lower broiler, chrome crisping and storage drawers inside left door, with towel rack and utensil tray within ideal door.This oven was planned for a summer kitchen area that never got constructed. When it arrived I was able to plug it in long enough to check the burners, but never ever got the chance to check the oven or utilize it to cook. If memory serves me correctly, two of the burners work and 2 need replaced, but I can't bear in mind whiches. The stove, oven, and burners can use some information cleaning, but the outside porcelain is in amazing shape for its age.I couldn't gather much details on this Tappan, other than the electrical versions of this vintage are rare; brought back and working are upwards of $1000. Asking $300 obo. Being sold "As Is".Pick-up only. Product is really heavy so it will certainly require man-power.
