This desk was custom made for us about 10 years ago. It is very heavy and solid. The hutch is built separately and sits on top of the desk. There is an open shelf on the hutch, along with a DVD/CD storage shelf. The cabinet has an adjustable shelf inside. There is a pull out work surface in the desk, along with a pull out keyboard tray. The cabinet has an upright section for a CPU and two pull out shelves for a printer and other componants. The cabinet door is bi-fold so it doesn't require a lot of space to open. The desk surface has some nicks in the finish, but doesn't appear to be into the wood level. I believe the finish on this desk was not properly cured, so where the computer has rested there are little spots where the finish came off. I will send a close up picture if you want to see it prior to coming to look at it in person.
