I am selling a custom-made built Bar/Picnic bike constructed of a vintage Nishiki 3 speed internal hub cruiser. The bike itself was entirely upgraded, headset and hubs, including rear internal were rived cleaned and rebuilt. The bottom bracket was replaced with a Shimano UN-74 (XT Level) tapered spindle system with a set of alloy crankarms and specialized platform pedals, it originally had a set of cotter pin design cranks which are understood for their lack of sturdiness. The bike received brand-new tires tubes cables and chain, so it is an near new bike after all the work done. The highlight is the box itself. I created it around the measurements of a wine bottle, broad at the bottom yet not so broad you would hit it with your ankles, and tapered to the leading so your knees wont contact it while standing and climbing up. Strong construction including magnetic catches and a cam lock to keep your belongings secure. It was stained with a red mahogany stain to match the red of the frame and assist the grain pattern "pop". The interior was lined with felt and the lower portion padded with foam to avoid any bouncing around of said contents. Included with the bike is a set of 5 plastic wine glasses that pack into one glass for reaching the park with you. This is a good little bike that has already brought in some attention on local flights to test out the functionality of everything, fantastic discussion piece and perfect for loading up a picnic lunch and going to the park, or filling it up with your favorite drink and cruising all summer season:).
