7 pieces Bavarian china recognized as from the period 1902-1908. Four of the 5" hand-painted plates are inkstamped Thomas Sevres Bavarian. The other 2 5" plates from the very same artist are inkstamped Titanic and "preferred Bavarian". All 6 plates are signed "Boylan" or "G E Boylan" and are quite similar, but no 2 are precisely alike. The bigger plate is inkstamped Thomas, but not signed by the artist. Sold together. Call Frank @ 523-XXXX (sorry, no texting). from the book "Marks on German, Bohemian and Austrian Porcelain" by Robert Rontgen:."The initial business was Jaeger and Thomas 1898-1902, Fritz Thomas left the company in 1902 and founded another company called Polzellanfabrik Markt Redwitz Thomas and Ens 1903-1908. In 1908 they liquefied the collaboration and Thomas continued as Porzellanfabrik F. Thomas, however sold the manufacturing facility the same year to Rosenthal in Selb.".
