3.5 x10x1.75" deep hinged cover box for "Charlie Chaplin Gloves." Chaplin is again depicted as the Little Tramp leaning on his walking stick. Lt. dust soiling. VF. Interior of lid has chipping to Chaplin's pants. Both c. 1920s. (G - $100 to $200).Noted here is an unusual Charlie Chaplin wooden glove box from the extremely early 1920's. The image and similarity of Chaplin is carved into the wood! The top has patina it has actually made over the last century, the interior has much less. The hinges are intact and the total condition is exceptional considering its age. It measures 31/2" X 10" and is 1.75" deep. Exactly what a prized antique!
