For sale is an original detachable antique travel luggage trunk, probably for an antique 1920's or 30's roadster, visiting sedan, coupe or car. It is a metal and wood trunk, possibly made by Potter Mfg. Co. and is marked, "Steelwood", Watts-Moorehouse, Jackson, Michigan on the chrome latches and except for some minimal surface rust, small damages & scratches, is in really excellent original condition. It appears to have the original black paint, very little surface rust, with exactly what appears to be the original interior backing. The dimensions are 40" long x 13" wide x 19-1/2" tall, it has a straight back & front with slanted lid. The only markings are on the chrome latches, which are working, however I do not have the initial key. This is a real barn find, ideal for your restoration or collection, where are you going to discover another one like it !!! If you're doing a rat rod truck this would be best for a device or accessary box.
