Check out my other items!Be sure to add me to your favorites list!This listing is for a Getzen 300 series slide trombone. This instrument is being sold as is for parts or repair. It may well be playable as is, but I'm sure it could benefit from a trip to the repair tech. There are no major dents, but there are numerous minor dings, pings, and nicks, including on the "U" bend of the main tuning slide. The nub on the end of the main slide is pushed in slightly. The rim of the bell has not been bent. The tuning slide is free. I don't see any resoldered joints. The main slide seems to me like it doesn't move quite as smoothly as it should, but I'm no expert on this. There are no specific spots where it catches, so maybe it just needs a good cleaning and lubrication. There no noticeable dents on the main slide. The lacquer is well worn and scratched throughout. This is a former school horn that has been retired by the district that owned it. As such, it has a school ID marking hand etched on the bell. There is no mouthpiece, nor any other accessories included with this instrument. It does come in a plastic shell case though. The case is in very good condition. The interior of the case is clean and odor free, with minimal wear and tear. The exterior plastic shell has some minor scuffs, but no cracks or other damage.
