I have two Bertoia side chairs for Knoll designed by Harry Bertoia for sale. These are vintage early production models that are in amazing shape for their age. The super sturdy steel construction and durable finish makes them great for indoor or outdoor use. These chairs are described as “One of the most iconic contributions to modern furniture design.”When I purchased these chairs, they were painted green—I spent weeks removing that paint and revealing the original and well preserved white rislan coating. There are a few remaining flakes of green paint that could easily be removed. I just got them to a place I was happy with. There are a few spots where the finish is flaked/peeled up, but nothing super noticeable or major. I have one pad that I made for the chair. These chairs are sold without the pads, but they can be purchased online if desired. The chairs are surprisingly comfortable, even without a pad.
