Cambridge Audio Azur 840C Upsampling CD PlayerFor sale as a parts unit, we have a Cambridge Audio Azur 840C Upsampling CD Player in the silver finish, with the original remote. While the Analog ouputs do NOT work, the transport, and the Digital Output both work as they should, and the display is clear and working properly. While we don't know the history of the unit as it came in a large collection that we purchased, it appears upon opening the unit that an "upgrade" was poorly done to the Analog output section. The parts used in the upgrade are from a company called Burson Audio, and many of the boards that were installed came loose. Four of the units had fallen off. All of the parts will be included in the sale. It is likely that the "upgrade" was done by a company named "Perfect Sound Audio" as their sticker is on the back of the unit. The unit is in good physical condition with some scuffs and blemishes, most notably on the top edge of the faceplated and a couple on the front. There are no deep scratches, or dents on the unit. The original remote is included and is in working condition. There is a dent on the right side of the remote, and it is highlighted in the pictures. Please see pictures for further information. We don't have the original box for this unit, but we take packaging and shipping seriously. We spare no expense and use heavy duty boxes, several inches of polyethylene foam on all sides of the unit, and use water activated, fiber reinforced tape on all seams.
