Up for auction is a rare vintage Panasonic ST-3600 AM/FM stereo tuner. Beautiful faceplate and classic vintage sound. Very good cosmetic condition, especially given its age. Dial lights work but the "Distortion Null" meter and "Stereo" lights are out. Also, previous owner added a headphone jack, replacing one of the screws that holds the top panel in place- this is visible in the last photo. I removed the cover to see if the burned out lamps could be replaced, not realizing the headphone jack was there- this tuner is built like a tank (no plastic parts here!) but they were too buried inside for my skill level. Replacing the top cover required me to cut the wires attached to the headphone jack. The cut-off wires are still inside the unit and could be spliced to the jack by someone with the skill level and patience required that I don't have. Otherwise, the tuner works and sounds excellent. Offered AS IS, as described. Shipping only within the lower 48 US states. Shipping is on the high side because this is a large and very heavy tuner, heavier than many receivers. Local pickup welcome.
