Up for bid is an Apple MacBook Pro laptop computer with a 2.3Ghz Intel i5 processor with a 512GB SSD hard drive, 16GB of RAM and OS 10.12.6 installed. The computer is in factory-fresh condition which means when you power it up for the first time, it will be as if you purchased it new allowing you to set the computer up with your own profile and settings.This unit has been upgraded with an internal SSD drive so the operation is MUCH faster than it was with the original drive. I've also included the original hard drive that came with the computer which is also set up in factory-fresh condition just in case you want it for any reason.I am the original and only owner of this computer and took very good care of it. It does have some normal wear and tear on the casing as seen in the pictures. The screen is in excellent condition. All the ports work as intended. Please examine the pictures carefully.The battery is the original battery and will hold a charge, however the charge doesn't last long, but as long as you keep it plugged in, there are no issues with the computer staying powered on. The on-board Super Drive works, but it may be intermittent especially for burning discs. These super drives are pretty rugged, but they do eventually burn out, so it may be nearing the end of its life. However, there are inexpensive and very reliable USB CD drives available on Amazon that play back and record CDRs if/when this one goes bad. I rarely used it in the last few years because there was just no need for CDs or burning recordable CDs, so it was a non-issue for me.I've included extra screws for the case if you want to open it up for any reason. It's easy to lose those tiny screws, but with all the extra ones included, you'll be covered. The computer will be shipped in its original packaging and double-boxed so it will be very well-protected when shipped.This generation of Macs is at the end of its ability to update the OS, so be sure you are clear about that and understand what that means.
