Kenwood PreamplifierModel number: KC-209Included is a Kenwood RC-992 universal remote control. This is not the original remote, but works with the unit. Note: The included remote control works with the preamp, but you may have to push the buttons on the remote control severaltimes before they activate. The buttons on the remote control which work with the preamp:- Power on/off- Volume up/down- Mute- All input selections: Phone, Tape 1 and 2, Tuner, Video 1 and 2, and CD- Equalizer presets (number 1 through 5) The preamp works 100% and sounds great. The Phono input works and sounds great.All lights and controls work.The item is extremely clean and ready for new ownership to put to good use. All connections have been cleaned.The equalizer five memory presets maintain their memory even after the preamp has been unplugged after 30 days. Service Performed:Volume and balance rotary controls have been clean with Deoxit Contact Cleaner. Equalizer sliders have been cleaned with Deoxit Fader Lube. Cleaning was performed for maximum performanceand sound output. There is no scratchy sound in the volume, balance, or EQ slider controls. Original power cord is attached.Item has been in my possession for the past five years. Cosmetics:Preamp: It’s in overall excellent condition. Very nice!Remote Control: It’s in overall excellent condition with a missing battery cover. I used a cardboard plate with non-residue painters tape to correct the issue. Remote requirestwo AA batteries (not included in auction). Carefully removing the top cover, everything appears original inside with no service work performed, modifications made, or water damage whatsoever.All items in my possession have been in a pet free, smoke free, and humidity controlled home. The item will be well packed for safe shipment to new ownership.All shipments, including ‘Buy it Now’ will occur within three business days once payment is received.Shipment method is Fed-Ex Ground with a tracking number.Shipment is to the lower U.S. 48 states only.
