The Alexander model 1103 is a great horn for those looking to retain the pure Alexander sound but achieve a greater dynamic presence. Colorful without being too harsh or bright. Open and responsive. A previous owner upgraded the horn with a Cornford leadpipe. In addition to the Cornford pipe, the horn has an adjustable pinky hook and hand rest.The horn is in excellent overall condition!. Although there are several minor dings from use, there is one noticeable dent shown in the photos and one pencil eraser size ding in the bell tail bracket. The valves are great! With very good compression still. The raw brass has been hand polished as much as possible and will continue to develop its own patina over time.Comes with an Alexander case and a Josef Klier W 2EK mouthpiece.Please ask any questions before bidding to insure your satisfaction in the horn.Free Shipping in the lower 48 states!
