Description:
This is a Redongton DFR 9 foot 4 weight 3 piece fly rod. This rod is used but in excellent condition. This is a helically wound pure graphite fly rod. The materials came from Southern California composite makers that made composite for the space and air industry. The bolts of scrim would be sent to Composite Development in New Zealand where they would make the blanks and then the blanks would be sent back to Redington where the Dave Redington would finish the rod with top grade components. This is the most friendly longest casting 4 weight fly rod you can buy. I love this rod and I have all the DFR rods and fish them on a regular basis. This rod comes in a custom Clear Creek cordura divided travel tube.
