The Holton Llewellyn professional B flat model was the premiere trumpet model of the Holton company designed with and by One of the most famous trumpeters of the era, Edward Llewellyn. It is regarded by some as the finest instrument in the company history. Still plays amazingly as do almost most surviving LLewellyn models. Super Clean. Valves are slick and fast. Lots of colors in rich tone.Model: 48Series: Revelation “Llewellyn” modelKey: BbEdw. Llewellyn was the first trumpet of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in the 20’s and 30’s. He was one of the most well known trumpet players of his time. (Renold Schilke studied with Llewellyn starting in 1928.)
