Macbook Pro Mid 2012 13 inch (For Parts?)

Can be used for parts but it is kind of functional. I had been using it for several years without a glitch and then one day it started putting the disk to sleep inadvertently, which I really didn't have too much of a problem except for the fact that it was corrupting my Back-UP external hard drive by not ejecting it properly each time it happened. I bought another computer and shelved this one until I decided to try again by installing a new SSD a few days ago. It didn't work so I returned the SSD and am now listing it for parts unless someone knows how to prevent that fault.Also, when I wiped it I didn't install an OS. It would have to be booted in Recovery Mode to install an OS.
