Old Violin 4/4 Wall Decoration or Repair

Description:
This is a good-looking wall hanger. (A leather hang strap is around the fiddle-head). A severe crack in a structural area at the base of the instrument (see pics). There is also a long crack on the face that is (non-repaired) structurally not sound. The neck is straight and fixed well to the body. All four strings are present. Tailpiece and pegs are in excellent shape. The bridge is in great condition and straight, but it appears the last user moved it over for fresh string positions. There is a post in place, likely in its proper place with a string attached. The case is in good shape and all the case hardware works. The appearance and shape are pretty good. It could be a luthier's project to restore or use for parts.
