The trombone has been serviced and tested by a trombonist who is also a certified repair tech / private trombone instructor. This trombone is in ready to play condition right out of the case. For those in the know in the trombone world I don't have to tell you much about this make and model of t-bone, you just know. But for those not familiar the King 2B's looking for a lead bone sound in jazz band/big band or nice edgy peashooter sized bone and tone for solo, funk, R, cover, tribute, commercial work this is basically the tool that defines that sound as we know it the King 2B. For sale this is a circa 1946 vintage King 2B Liberty Trombone and original case with newer King 7c mouthpiece. Excellent condition for its age. Original lacquer has darkened. Engraving is crisp, Slide is in fantastic condition, bell nut almost feels like new and of course I've processed this through my shop and being a King 2B player myself rate this fairly high on over all condition, plays like it should and has decades of life left if you take care of it. Minimal dent work was done. Slide aligned. If you are shopping for a King 2B trombone you probably just found your baby!
