An acrylic platter decreases wow & flutter effects due to its higher mass which increases rotational inertia.Acrylic provides a cleaner and more detailed sound by minimizing unwanted vibrations as a result of its high density and low stiffness.It is recommended that you place records directly on the acrylic platter with no mat to take full advantage of the properties of acrylic.Dimensions: Diameter: 11.8 inches (300mm), Thickness: 1.1 inch (28 mm), Weight: 5.54 lbs (2.51 kg), Diameter of center hole (top): 0.28 inches (7mm), Diameter of center hole (bottom): 0.71 inches (18mm).Many turntables come with a more basic entry-level platter. Upgrading to an acrylic platter is one of the best options to improve the sound quality of your turntable. Acrylic offers a great combination of qualities that make it a great platter option.
