Vintage Gothic Revival Mahogany Tuft Gold Velvet Tall Back Club Chair, c. Mid 20th Century- Pairs Nicely with Many Eclectic Interior Styles- Designed & Manufactured by Lewittes Furniture (Labeled Bottom)- Solid Mahogany Frame with an Original Deep Satin Finish- Tall Styled Backrest- Original Gold Velvet Upholstery with Button Tufted Back- Attractive Natural Cane Arm Webbing - Offers Sensational Contrast- Tapered LegsCondition:This Gothic Revival Tall Back Club Chair was exceptionally well made, it's both solid and sturdy. The original velvet upholstery was very well taken care of. The only notable flaw to the upholstery is shown along the top of the backrest, you'll notice slight fraying at the seam; This area is circled in our photo gallery to reference. Scratches and areas of wear to the finish can be noticed along the tops of the arm rests, bottom legs and backrest frame - Very consistent with its age.
