A wonderfully intricate pencil drawing, covered in gold wash, by the American artist and ceramicist, Susan Margin. The drawing reflects the complexities and layering in her ceramic and bronze sculptures. I obtained several of her works on paper over 20 years ago at Margin's house sale, when she left Santa Fe for Seattle. She still lives and works in the Northwest. Condition is quite good. No water damage or tears. A slight waviness to both sides of the paper. The piece itself measures about 4 1/2 by 7 inches. The backer and frame measure 12 by 16. It can be hung, or it can lean against the wall on top of a piece of furniture. It's a nice piece of original modern art at a reasonable price.
