I am creating cast reproductions of all my family's antique heirloom Neapolitan presepio figurines before they crumble into dust after over a century of loving use and generations of Christmas joy. All told there are over 200 nativity figurines, including 14 angels of various sizes. My goal is to restore and make preservation copies of all the figurines starting with the angels. To raise funds to do this work, I am offering the opportunity for collectors to purchase restored copies of the angels cast in bronze and hand painted to reproduce the originals that my grandfather lovingly brought here from our ancestral home on the isle of Ischia. The prices for the reproductions range from $400 each for the smallest, $600 for medium and $1000 for the largest (6 inch winged angels). Pictured below is a sample of the angels. If you are interested, and would like to see the full selection of angles (or to purchase the entire group of 6 small, 5 medium and 3 large angels for $7,600) please let me know. Angles ordered with a 50% deposit before Thanksgiving 2012 will be shipped to arrive before Christmas 2012, pending receipt of balance.
