"Hammer Slammin" - A song that had to be written, by Jan Davis
This is a must-read for all who care about military servicemen and women.
Los Angeles, CA
As a parent, I can only imagine the terror of continuing sleepless nights for the parents, spouses and children of the servicemen and women who are now in harm's way. Our nightly television news constantly announces daily numbers of lives lost, while these young men and women are striving to serve their beloved country, for a cause many still do not comprehend. To this day, parents of military men and women from all parts of the world, who learn their own have escaped harm, are now witnessing other parents suffering from the loss or extreme bodily harm of their grown children, generated by ongoing, horrific terrorism. In the meantime, we're all waiting and praying the "Hammer" won't drop on our loved ones, wherever they may be.Those who hear the lyrics, delivered with all the passion and emotion I could pull from my heart and soul, will understand why this song had to be written. ~JanDavisThe following links are for the EP album "I Loved You Too Much" and "Hammer Slammin" is song #6.Listen to free samples and download at the following direct links:iTunes - UShttp://itunes.apple.com/us/album/i-loved-you-too-much/id125357899Amazon http://www.amazon.com/I-Loved-You-Too-Much/dp/B0012LW8BU/ref=dm_ap_alb4?ie=UTF8&qid=1202115758&sr=101-1
