Cover your Avocado Trees for the hard freeze tonight, 12/6/2016 in Florence, Oregon
I have many beautiful glossy leaved avocado trees that I have brought under portico and the house eves cover. Please put your tender plants under cover or wrap them with a tarp for the hard freeze or black frost tonight.I have also placed my Passion fruit vines, Cape Gooseberry and Date palms under cover. It is not necessary to place the following trees under cover, but I have done so, so people can see the leaves still on the small trees. They are Apricot and Plum trees and one Peach tree which are now under portico cover. They are grown locally in Florence, Oregon by myself from seed. No trees are grafted or cloned. Each tree is a unique individual that is cross pollinated for disease resistance and hardiness. The hardy trees survive for you to purchase.Trees are grown in recycled containers.Trees in 5 and 15 gallon containers sell at $10 per foot. Pricing is simple. A two foot tree sells for $20. A four foot, sells for $40.Large 4 year old avocado trees in 55 gallon metal planters are also available at $150.Other trees and vines, besides avocado trees, that are for sale and grown locally from seed include loquat, pomegranate, date palm and seed grape vines.530 923 six four eight five (cell)541 991 three three eight four (home)I am located off Rhododendron Drive in Florence, Oregon.
