I’m selling this bass and amp as a package deal. I bought them to learn to play but that not ever going to happen.. the amp has only been tested to make sure it works and the bass only played with a few times as I tried to learn some stuff. So its all basically new. This will make a great gift for someone or for yourself for Christmas so get it before it goes. Ibanex SR300 Bass Guitar Roadster Orange MetallicPro features for a starter priceThe SR300 4-string electric bass is priced like a beginner's instrument, but it has features that make it anything but a cut-rate starter axe. First off, it has a 5-piece SR4 maple/rosewood neck and light, agathis body with smooth rounded edges and a deep, lower cutaway for better access to the upper frets. The dual EXF-4 pickups and an upgraded 3-band Style Sweeper EQ deliver improved overall sound whether you're grooving on the low-end for some crunchy classic rock, or working the full fretboard for a more pop sound. Some review from online. Can't Beat It As reviewed by Paul Sabre on 1/26/2010I simply cannot figure out how Ibanez puts out a bass of this quality for such a low price. A little fiddling right out of the box got the action low and smooth. The shape of the neck makes playing effortless. The 3 band onboard eq dials in almost any sound you need without having to go back and fiddle with the amp. The Roadster Orange finish is so much better in person than in the photos, the active pickups sound wonderful, and, a boon to all us gigging musicians, it's light. I started playingbass in High School. I'm 51 now, and have owned almost every type of bass at one point or another. P bass, couple of Jazz Basses, Yamahas, Peaveys, A Gibson, couple other Ibanez's, and this is the one I'm sticking with. For years the Jazz Bass was my main stage axe, and I used to carry a phony Hofner as a backup. I'd usually pick it up somewhere in the second set to give my shoulder a break. I am seriously considering buying another one of these for my backup and leaving everything else at home. For us working class players who simply can't afford a Ric 4003 or the Alembic of their dreams, this bass will fill the bill. At this price, you simply can't go wrong……………………..A Bass for anyone As reviewed by Sparky Hereticon 8/26/2009 5:42:32 PMI have played many, many basses over the years. Fender, Washburn, Ibanez BC Rich and even Traben. This bass and this series is the best, hands down. You can't find a better bass for a better price no matter the style you play. The weight for a bass guitar is unbelievable, and the variable sounds you can get from the active pickups is certain to please anyone's earAcoustic B200 200W 1x15 Bass Combo Amp A seriously powerful amp for serious bassists. The Acoustic B200 professional combo is designed for large club and live applications where the sound of its 15" bass driver and horn will fill the stage with warmth and punch. That's because it pounds a massive 200 watts RMS into the internal 15" speaker, delivering the classic Acoustic pro's tone in a portable, professional design. The two bass inputs are designed to accommodate both active and passive bass instruments while the Gain and Volume controls give you complete control over the character of your tone. Increase the gain for some old school rock tones, or lower it and turn up the volume for great clean, classic or funk tones. The preamp includes a very natural and tube-like compression as well as a harmonically rich distortion circuit, which keeps your tone musical--even at high volume levels. The B200 also includes a frequency sweepable -10dB notch filter to tailor your mids, and a six-band EQ for exact control over every nuance of your bass's tone.Rear panel features include a parallel effects loop, tweeter on/off switch, and XLR balanced Line Out with Level Control and Ground Lift. The series extension speaker jack provides an output for an additional cabinet such as the Acoustic B115 or B410.The heritage of Acoustic comes through loud and clear in the B200--a seriously professional amp for serious bassists.Features· Power: 200 Watts @ 4 Ohms· Speaker: 15" Heavy-duty speaker, built-in horn· Channels: 1· EQ: 6-Band EQ - sweepable· Frequency notch filter· Inputs: dual inputs (passive & active)· Outs: XLR direct outSome reviews that were online for it A nice amp for the moneyI love the retro look of the amp. All controls feel solid. I like that it has a built in amp fan also. Tone controls offer a wide range of variables. The Acoustic B200 is truly a nice little amp for the money. I have been playing bass for more years than I care to mention. Been through the "seperate electronics" to amp/cab combos. I have played virtually all styles of music over the years as well, so with this in mind.....After using the B200 now since Feb of this year and quite a few venues, I can honestly say this little amp holds up nicely. I have never felt a need for more volume nor does it lack tone. The amp offers a very clear array of tone controls and its very easy to dial in the sound that suits the individual. I play medium to small clubs and this amp has never let me down in the volume department. I play a Jazz bass and the guitars tone holds true with this amp. I get that growl I like with both pick ups on, or a fat thicker tone with the neck pick up only. The B200 offers a relatively tight/clear tone and I have never experienced any kind of amp distortion or clipping from it. As a side note here, I have hooked this amp up to a 2-10 extension cab (8 ohm) and the amp gets louder and bigger sounding.I dont know what other reviewers are talking about when it comes the the amps weight. I can easily pick this thing up (bad back and all) and put it in my cars back seat with ease. I recommend casters to roll the amp into the gig, but all in all, not a heavy amp.Keep in mind the price point on this unit. The tone you want is there, with a little time of dialing it in. The tolex covering will tear easily if your rough on your gear. This is in part, due to the cab being made out of pressed board instead of plywood. Like I said, for the money who cares is the tolex rips up a bit. This amp sounds good enough to overlook some tears.I hope the review was helpful. Rock on!So far so good. Nothing has gone wrong with the amp.For the price point, this is a great value. I have tried other combo amps at twice the price and ended up with this amp because of tone and flexibility.………………………………………………………………Comments about Acoustic B200 200W 1x15 Bass Combo:I got my B200 a few weeks ago. I still cannot believe the sound that comes out of this thing! It is without a doubt THE BEST bass amp I've heard in this price range, and beats many amps that sell for more! The power and clarity is beyond description, you really need to hear it to believe it. I've been playing in local bar bands for 30+ years and always wished somebody made a compact bass amp that had power enough to carry without being miked or plugged into the PA. This baby fills the bill! I'm using an Ibanez short scale bass and this combo sounds fantastic together. I've never enjoyed playing bass more. Can you tell that I'm happy with this purchase?
