I am no longer in marching band, and am not looking on joining again any time soon. I hope to pass on this great instrument to a player who will use it well. I am fairly firm on the price considering I just spent an arm and a leg getting it fully serviced. It is currently being fully serviced by Music and Arts and will come fully flushed and polished. This is a used instrument, so a few dings should be expected... but nothing that will affect playability. All major dents will be removed by Music and Arts. They appraised it around 2000-2200, so the price is more than fair. This instrument is built for professionals, but would be a great instrument for highschool/college players who are serious about music. I was hoping for 1750 out of this instrument, but I am lowering it to 1500 in hopes of selling it soon.
