Great dynamic range and clarity, it has more focused tube saturation. As you crank the 'Drive' control, your tone moves from smooth warmth to fuzz. Not only does it work as a microphone preamp, but thanks to separate mic and instrument inputs, it also works as a great direct box for guitar or bass. Extras include phantom power, high pass filter, and polarity reverse switch.
