The old Irish Mail zooms back with a new look. Back in the 1960s (and even before then), youngsters whizzed along sidewalks on hand-powered speedsters called Irish Mails. Here's an updated version of the classic rider you can build for some lucky boy or girl.I am going to build 2 of these "Sidewalk Speedsters". One is for my Great-Grandson "Max" for his second birthday and am offering the other one for sale to the public. You can let me build it for your child in my wood working shop, or you can download the pattern from the purchase site. I got the pattern from my many patterns from mag subscription I have been getting since 1960. Measures aproximately 40" wide. The price will be given when I know the price of all materials needed. I have found the cost factors plus labor is Total $75.50% of that total is a deposit CASH ONLY to start order. The balance upon pick-up with cash for balance due. It will take about 7 to 10 days to build and finish with the colors you want.I am going to suggest for his father our "Grandson Steven" to help me build it and paint it to his color choices.Maybe many people may want it after I build the first 2 Speedsters. This toy ride is a growing child learning toy for multi-functions eyes, hand, and feet movements.
