It is sturdy, i absolutely love to watch the sky at night and my main interest is the moon. My husband bought it for me from a garage sale and ive gotten lots of use out of it. I wish to pass it on to someone or some child who is interested but cannot afford a real good one. Im asking only 20 bucks. (he bought it for 75.00 a year ago. it has a wooden, black stand and two scopes. its a very hard plastic and it has great visuals. i actually saw a falling star beyond the moon. really. 20 bucks and its yours.
