The new headstock and tuner configuration give this guitar an even cooler look than before, and though the difference might seem subtle, it is 1 that we really like.Versatility at its best, this Crowdster Plus accomplishes what pickup-installed acoustics and tons of outboard gear have a hard time doing... giving you true acoustic tones with real clarity. Add in the CMA pickup, and the Plus becomes exponentially impressive. From lush acoustic sounds, to solid electric tones, the Crowdster Plus fills a real need for the gigging musician.Here with a Light Tiger Eye Burst finish on a gorgeous Flame Maple top, it has a beautifully resonant chambered Mahogany body. The neck is Mahogany with a satin finish and a Rosewood fretboard. It's very comfortable, easy to play - weighs in at six pounds 10oz. The (Anderson EQ'd) LR Baggs Piezo pickup and CMA stand beautifully each on their own but when you blend them, it really opens a whole new sonic palette. You have 3-way switching with Volume, Volume, Treble, Middle, Bass."This is the perfect acoustic/electric instrument that allows you to really create exactly what you want - straight up acoustic, rock electric and anything in between. Yes, it can do the Electric/Acoustic thing better than any other, but I feel its strengths lie in its ability to create many different electric sounds ranging from a pop, rhythmic jangle to a full-on rock drive, but all with its own sweet touch. My favorite is to combine the 2 pickups and blend in just a hint of the acoustic pickup. By using this setting, it can be extremely delicate but kick on your favorite boost pedal and it creates a great drive tone that's not just another 'heard that a million times' guitar tone." - John F.
