Description:

Refurbished original (not a reproduction) mid-1900's Mahogany Boat Wheel. Based on the size, design, and craftsmanship, this wheel was likely made in the USA during the mid-1900's for use on a medium sized pleasure boat. It measures 18” in overall diameter with six 4" spokes, one being grooved to indicate the center rudder position.. The front side of the felloes (rim) has two narrow light wood rings inlaid into the entire circumference The 3"x 2¼" brass hub has a ⅞" non-tapered shaft hole (with keyway).
