1934 Ideal Archtop Epiphone (not Olympic) Hear It!

Here is a very rare vintage circa 1934 Ideal acoustic archtop guitar, with OHSC! My best guess is that this is a Model C. There is not very much info around for these, and most of the data you'll find suggests that Ideal guitars were made by the original New York Epiphone company. I have seen Ideal guitars, Models A, B, and C that had genuine Epiphone hardware, but it is my opinion that these guitars were not actually made by Epiphone, but instead were built by a 3rd party maker, and received their final assembly at the Epiphone factory. I think there were some Ideal guitars that were in fact completely built by Epiphone, but I think we might identify them by the fact that they have a 8xxx or 9xxx serial number stamped inside the body, and that they measure 16 3/8" across their lower bouts. The guitar in this auction measures 16" lower bout, 11 7/16" upper bout, and has a 25 1/2" scale. The body is 20 1/4" long, and is 3 1/4" deep at the endpin. The width at the nut is 1 11/16". As you can see in the pictures, this 90 year-old guitar has had an interesting life. All the hardware has been changed. The bridge does look a bit Epiphone to me, but more like mid-1940's. The tuners and tailpiece are recent. The guitar has been crudely refinished brown, and there are several cracks (although, all have been repaired). The original hardshell case is a bit rough as well: it is missing it's center latch, and the body-end hinge is unattached (you need not fear and of this, as my packing has been described as "bomb proof!"). The good news? The guitar is perfectly playable, and has a nice bright tone. Also, it's not going to cost $3K like a '34 Olympic! I tried and failed 3 times to add a video clip of this guitar to this auction, and ebay will not allow us imbed a link to an external website.
