This is a lovely 1.57 ct Billiant Round Center Stone (Color G, I2) flanked by 4 round diamonds (2 on each side) with a total weight of 1.12 ct. 14k White Gold setting. Size 7. This ring was purchased brand new from Shane Co in Georgia. I have the initial receipt and Certificate of Appraisal from Shane Co which assesses the ring at $8690.00. This was from Jan 2007 and I have actually taken the ring to a number of Jewelers and they say the current retail value would be closer to $10,000.00 today. Because this ring was bought at Shane Co it comes with a Lifetime warranty and very generous upgrade program. The center stone can be traded in for the total purchase cost of the diamond to any higher priced diamond. The replacement diamond just needs to cost $1.00 even more to certify. This center stone was acquired at $6,000.00 so if at any time in the future you can go select a bigger diamond say a 2.0 ct for $9,000.00 and they will credit the $6,000.00 to the new diamond. Likewise the 4 diamond setting can be updated also with credit given towards the purchase price of the initial background. You must invest double the amount on the brand-new setting. So with the initial background at $1,200.00 you can upgrade to a $2,400.00 background and get the original price credit to the brand-new purchase. This ring was brought into the Shane Co in Alpharetta, GA a minimum of every 6 months. I can satisfy to show at a public place in The Villages, FL.
