Handmade drum, approx 32 inches in diameter. Real leather, well constructed, and great authentic sound. Pow wow drums hard to come by because of the number of hours/talent that go into making an instrument of this size. The person who constructed this drum was personally taught by Native Americans and used high quality/thick leather. Can accommodate up to about 8-10 people playing on the same drum. Pow wow drums of this size typically range from $900-$1,200. Would work great in any drum circle. Would work great for in the classroom since one drum can accommodate many players simultaneously. Easy and fun to learn how to play. Teaches children how to work as a team in a classroom setting or on an outing. Handle on both sides making it easy for two people to carry.
