The Whistler is a 14'6" long and 24" wide transitional kayak built by Current Designs, a premium kayak brand. A transitional kayak is in between the categories of a traditional recreational kayak and a touring kayak. This allows it to have features of both types and provide great performance. It is in excellent condition and has been stored properly inside. It has a few small and very shallow scratches on the hull from normal use, but nothing that would cause a detriment in performance. This Whistler has the added option of a rudder which is a $200 option from Current Designs. The rudder can be deployed from the cockpit which allows it to be steered with the use of foot pedals. The rudder also helps the kayak stay on course in windy conditions. Along with the kayak I'm including a Dagger cockpit cover to keep the cockpit protected during transport or storage and an Aquabound Seaquel paddle.
