At the AL Thrift shop we get contributions of watches. We conserve only the finest to put in our case, and normally they get new batteries, too. If they run, we do examine. There are vintage wind-ups along with quartz watches. Styles and costs vary but all are a bargain. In numerous cases you can get a good watch, running with a fresh battery, for less than you 'd pay at a jewelry establishment to have a new battery put in your old watch! We have all sort of brand names consisting of Seiko, Pulsar, Timex and lots more. Come on in and have a look !! You can always call the shop to make inquiries if we have what you are interested in, prior to you are available in. The phone number shows up if you click the "contact details" link. Considering that the Assistance League Thrift shop is run by volunteers, the make money from your purchase goes totally to support beneficial programs in Whatcom County. Not only do you get a wonderful value, you can feel good about where your money goes! Due to the fact that this is a nonprofit thrift store, all sales are "as is" with no returns ... however we do make every effort to explain things properly. Come and visit us! We are open 10am-5pm Tuesday through Saturday, with senior discount day being Thursday (if you are 65 or much better, request for your 20 % senior discount). YES, this previous Fall we moved from our previous downtown place. We are now north of downtown on Meridian, simply across from the Haggen Market, in a nice new clean large location with FREE PARKING. Come see us!
