what we got right here is my late 60's AMPEG SVT aka Blue Line. This is an all tube monster of a bass head, and the crown jewel of the AMPEG line. This has been in my possession for about 6 years and has actually been a definitely tank. Definitely reveals some outer wear with rips in the tolex and such, however the insides and front panel have been kept clean. Just recently the very first channel has actually been acting up and seems weak. The 2nd channel works perfectly fine which leads me to think that it is not pestered by power issues. I have not re tubbed it in about 3 years, but don't believe its that either. A more tech savy person informed me it could be as simple a repair as pre amp tube, or changing a capacitor. Its been a blast owning this thing, but it does more relaxing than being played and I could make use of some more brand-new toys. I'll take $1400 OBO on this. I am likewise interested in trading for any Jazzmasters or older Sunn, Music Man, Fender, or Traynor amps.
