1938 "SWEDEN" The Land And The People. Hardcover with worn and separated dust jacket. Seventh Printing July, 1938. Copyright 1934 by Agnes Rothery Pratt. Printed in the USA. The Viking Press, 18 East 48th Street, New York. Distributed in Canada by the MacMillan Company of Canada, LTD. Illustrated. Non-smoking environment. VERY OLD antique hardcover book. Dust jacket is present but has 25% partially disintegrated and in pieces. I have made no changes or modifications to this vintage book. There is writing inside on the first blank page that says, "Happy Birthday to you both. Vera & Dan from (unsure of the first name) and Henry. March 1946". End of writing. Yellowing and age related fading on spine and edges, the dust jacket is very worn and in a few pieces. All edges of the dust jacket are worn mostly away. 90% of the dust jacket is there, just disintegrated at all folds and edges (and the back top is torn from the dust jacket). Besides that there are about 275 pages, with the last few pages not cut at the section where you flip pages. like the printing press switched around some paper back in the day when they were binding the book. Due to the age of this book and it's vintage condition, all sales are final. Please be sure this is the book you want as this is final sale. Thank you. Ships out quickly.
