This is a stunning vintage (antique) vanity which was produced by the Shower's Furniture company in Bloomington, Indiana. Made from solid wood with quality workmanship which can be seen throughout such as the dovetailed drawers. The original foil like manufacture sticker is still connected to the within drawer. Measures 62" tall (from top of mirror to floor) and 521/2" wide.Side tables are 231/2 high 13" broad and 181/4" deep.opening in the center is 25" wide.drawers on top are 6" deep drawers on bottom are 7" deep.the bench measures 24" w x 17" h x 141/2" d. I am not able to obtain a precise date however from what I can find it seems this piece was most likely developed in the late 1800's or early 1900's which would make it a true antique. As a reference simply a little history. Shower's Furniture was developed in the mid 1850's and the owner offered the business to his 2 sons in 1868 (as shown on the sticker label). The business was at its peak in the 1920's and thought about to be the largest furniture manufacture in the world. The business was sold in 1958. This is a solid piece however the bench is a little loose. The upholstery is old and I decided not to change it so the buyer can match the furniture to their house dcor. Some minor wear however typical for age. Asking $325 obo (cash money just).Select Up Only (no shipment offered) Vermilion, Oh.
