Apple Power Mac G4 500MHz Gigabit 768MB RAM DVD-RAM 25 and 80 HDD OSX 10.4.11 Tested and working. Excellent condition consistent with age. Hard drive has been tested and a fresh install of OSX 10.4 “Tiger” has been performed. Updated to 10.4.11 This is a vintage item. I am the original owner and used this computer for many years. It has always been a reliable machine and I have run it through its paces for the last couple of days. Fresh OS install and multiple restarts- no problems. All the ports work and it goes online just fine. However, due to the age of this item, I cannot guarantee continued functionality and it is being sold “as-is. ” This G4 had an interesting DVD RAM drive- a rewritable DVD 5.2 re-writeable cartridge. When I installed the 10.4 it worked fine and I wiped the disk. When I did the 10.4.11 update it stopped working. You may be able to re-install 10.4 and it will work- but maybe not. I’ll include the cartridge. Please see my other computer auctions. I have held onto all my old Apple computers (keeping my Apple II+) for sentimental reasons, but its time to let them go to good homes. As you can see I have taken very good care of them- kept them dusted with a static-free copier vacuum.
