Atomic Overload 100 Ski Boots Mondo Size 27.5 / Men's
BRAND NEW ATOMIC OVERLOAD 100 SKI BOOTS MONDO SIZE 27.5 (USA MEN'S 10/10.5). THESE ARE THE MOST COMFORTABLE BOOTS I EVER TRIED ON AND THE SIMPLE 2 BUCKLE SYSTEM IS EASY AND FEELS EXTREMELY SECURE. BOUGHT BRAND NEW BUT DUE TO INJURY CANNOT SKI. PAID $249.99 (RETAIL $500) AND SELLING FOR ONLY $150. An awesome freestyle boot with an adjustable flex and ultra-low stand height, the Atomic Overload 100 Ski Boots are a great compromise for riders who alternate between freeride pow hunting and down-and-dirty park sessions. An interchangeable " Flip Chip" allows you to choose between soft and hard flex modes, and the two buckle design is perfectly engineered to hold you in firmly without unnecessary hardware. Atomic has worked to keep the overall stand height of the Overload to a minimum, so you have the best possible sensitivity and precision. The roomy 101 mm fit is enhanced by Live Fit zones on the lateral side of the boot, so even wider feet can fit comfortably. 100 Flex Rating: This boot is pretty stiff, but not insanely stiff. A boot of this level is pretty good for upper-intermediate to expert level weekend warrior that is looking for something stiff enough to provide high-end response, while being wearable for an entire day of skiing. 101mm Last LF Performance: These boots have a 101mm last but on the outside of each boot, Atomic has incorporated live fit zones that will allow the boot to expand slightly to accommodate for wider feet or just for some extra comfort. Mega Buckles: Instead of the standard 4 buckle system (or sometimes 3), this boot has two oversized buckles that get the same pulling power and fit, with less stuff to worry about. one buckle over the top of the foot- done, one buckle above the ankle- done. Time to start skiing. 50mm Power Strap: This power strap is huge! 50mm means a lot of power, and acts like an extra buckle to keep the top of the boot together. The strap helps transmit power to the turn and better control while skiing. Tongue Pull: A loop of fabric at the top of the tongue helps in putting on and removing the boots. Pull it forward and to the side and your foot should slide right in. Macro adjust ladder: The tooth plate opposite the top buckles can be moved in or out for a huge range of adjustment, and to fit narrow to wide lower legs. Recco reflector: The Recco reflector system is a location device built into the back of the boot. This allows ski patrol a much greater chance of finding you if you get stuck in the well of a tree or buried in an avalanche. Its not as good as wearing an avalanche beacon, but its the next best thing. Double Canting: two adjustment bolts, one each side of the ankle, allow for max adjustment for leg/knee alignment problems. The canting helps the skis stay flat on the ground while you are still bow-legged or knock-kneed. Replaceable Toe and Heel Pads: This is a must-have for skiers that don't live in ski in/ski out condos. When your ski tech tells you that you have to buy new boots because the soles are worn down too much, just laugh at him and tell him to order you a new set of sole plates. 3M Thinsulate Insulation: A lightweight, completely re-engineered liner with 3M Thinsulate Insulation keeps feet warm and responsive even in extremely cold and damp conditions. Thinsulate Platinum surrounds the whole foot while standard Thinsulate is placed in the toe box only. Flip Chip Flex Adjustment: An exchangeable plastic insert on the Carbon Spine allows for complete individualized tuning of the boots flex and geometry. Soft and hard chips allow flex to be adjusted plus or minus ten flex points.
