Bacchus is a Japanese guitar and bass manufacturer that got their start in 1979 making copies of Gibson and Fender designs. They now have their own line of high-end basses that run $1k and up. Bacchus only has one authorized dealer in the US so these are very rare in the States.This model is a hand crafted precision bass with the Fender style head, also rare as Bacchus has their own headstock design. This P-Bass is all gloss black over a Japanese maple body.The most unique aspect of this bass is that is has a factor installed Jazz-Bass style neck which makes it and even better playing bass.I upgraded this bass with EMG passive (Geezer Butler) pickups, Kluson bridge, blue accented pick guard, and a Fender drop-tune key for the E string.This bass has been one of my primary players since I purchased it used in Japan in 2019. It plays extremely well, has a solid, fat sound, and looks awesome.There is one nick in the paint and some like signs of use.This bass also includes the lightning bolts strap as well..
