The shape of the #43 bell taper offers a slightly brighter and broader sound. Like all Bach Stradivarius trumpets, the 18043 comes with a standard construction #25 leadpipe with a .459" bore, bringing depth and color of sound, even intonation, and excellent response. This horn is perfect for the performer that plays a majority of jazz music. The reverse leadpipe creates a smoother pipe for the air to travel through, allowing for a smoother sound.the bell was rolled out so you can see scarring on the bell. There are scratches across the body. none of these effect the playability.recently cleaned and maintenance. No returns Accepted.
