After thought and major discussion I have decided to sell my 15yr old grey mare.My kids and I looked at her and bought her with full intentions of riding more this spring and summer. And It just hasn't happened I have 2 other horses that need attention, and I can't ride them all so we have decided to let her go. There is NOTHING wrong with her at all she when purchased had Just weaned a beautiful little filly and so she is stil trying to put some weight on from that, and we have been giving her full feed daily but this heat is really hard on them, she is coming out of it but will still need a little weight put on.The vet said she is fine health wise. She is UTD on all shots and worming @ this time. She doesn't have shoes on right now, she has strong feet but she always had shoes on and we pulled them off when we got her! The (70yr old) lady that had her rode her all over I guess she's been to Eminence and on the trail ride out in South Dakota. She's been everywhere done everything. She needs an experienced rider as she loves to go she wants to be the first one there she is not a tail follower everyone that HAS ridden with me since I got her that has rode her says she's fun to ride. I have loaned her out for some friends and they take her to Shimek when they ride, there 14 yr old daughter rode her. She goes over bridges, through water, up and down hills, and just anywhere you point her she is NOT spooky at all. She could be an endurance horse she may be sweating at the end of the ride but give her a drink and she could keep going she has lots of stamina. I am or will negotiate on the price a little but she is a truely good horse just needs to find a good home as right now it looks like I will not have the time, she is to good a horse for a pasture ornament! She NEEDS to go and see things she's just that type horse. I also have a spare saddle if there is a need for one, it was an extra I had purchased to have around and I have one to many of those also so I am willing to sell that as well.
